Kevin Brophy has had ten books published, including four collections of poetry and four works of fiction. He lectures in creative writing at the University of Melbourne. From 1980 to 1994 he published and edited the lit journal Going Down Swinging. His latest book is Mr Wittgenstein's Lion, a collection of poetry.

Lyn Hatherly spends much of her time doing something about writing: editing, publishing, writing, teaching, and advising other writers. Lyn has three published books. Acts of Abrasion (Five Islands Press 2006) Sappho's Sweetbitter Songs (Routledge 1996) Songs of Silence (Medal Poets 1994). She contributes poetry and reviews to journals and anthologies and has won several awards.

Dan Disney's poetry has won numerous awards, including the Melbourne Poets Union Poetry Prize, the Broadway Prize, and the Somerset Prize for Poetry. He is a PhD student at the University of Melbourne. His chapbook, The Velocity of Night Falling, is published through Hit & Miss Publications.

Ella Holcombe recently completed her Honours year in Creative Writing at The University of Melbourne. Her first collection of poems, Welcome/No Vacancy, was published by Five Islands Press in 2007 as part of the New Poets Series. She currently works part-time for the Australian Poetry Centre as Events and Sponsorship Assistant, and for the National Young Writers' Festival as Assistant General Manager.

Lucy Holt is a Masters student at the University of Melbourne, where she completed Honours in History and Gender Studies. Her latest collection of poetry, Man Wolf Man, was published in 2007 by John Leonard Press. She is currently working on a book about Anton Chekhov.

Graphic Design:

Libby Austen has been a graphic artist for many years and worked at some of Melbourne's top advertising agencies. Currently she teaches in the Graphic Design Department at Holmesglen TAFE, Chadstone.
